Monthly Update September 2023

As 2023 advances, M11 Credit would like to keep you updated on progress made and share insights around our activities in the lending & borrowing space.

M11 Credit Advisory Services

Over the course of the summer we observed an increased demand from allocators of capital looking to re-gain exposure to the right fixed income opportunities that suit their internal risk/reward parameters.

Ever since M11 Credit became active in institutional underwriting in July 2021, we have steadily expanded its activities and improved its processes along the way, while simultaneously building a deep network and eco-system in the industry.

This valuable experience makes M11 Credit uniquely positioned to provide services such as market intelligence, screening of prospective borrowers and loan pricing to lenders to complement their in-house efforts. During the last months we made several meaningful introductions and are currently in the process of structuring the first loans.

Borrower Proposition

Credit creation allows companies to grow and expand and lies at the heart of innovation.

Our team has developed tight industry relationships in order to attract only the highest quality borrowers looking for access to efficient financing. However, we always welcome profitable (crypto-native) businesses to engage with us to explore these opportunities.

Introduction: Peter Salyga

Peter_MAVEN11-roundedWe are very pleased to announce Peter Salyga has joined the M11 Credit team last month as Head of Underwriting and Risk.

Peter brings a strong track record in Hedge Fund stress testing and collateral management at Morgan Stanley as well as Bank of America Merrill Lynch and he comes with extensive experience in lending and borrowing of Digital Assets.

With M11 Credit's focus currently, and understandably, on the evolving  (under) collateralized lending space, Peter’s skills will prove to be valuable as we further scale our lending operations.

TOKEN 2049: Singapore Event Takeaways

M11 Credit visited Singapore around Token 2049 for the second year in a row. We feel this event has become one of the better gatherings of industry professionals on the current calendar, where the amount and quality of people working towards an institutional financial and trading infrastructure makes for a promising and energising environment; a clear sign of an industry that is rapidly maturing.

An observation especially true for our niche of underwriting services in Digital Assets is the increased focus on further raising industry standards and adding more tools to analyse and verify (on-chain) assets; areas that we are very passionate about at M11 Credit.
